Art and sensory play combines the most fun with the messiest, best kind of art interaction. We will be scooping, smearing, smashing, sorting and squirting! Let your child get messy to experience all of it.
Sensory play encourages cognitive development, enhances fine motor skills, improves problem solving, spatial awareness and adaptability. Getting messy has so many benefits!
Young artists will play with moon dough, use ice cubes paints, smash ice sculptures, discover gems in dyed noodles and so much more. Experiments include rolling toy cars through paint and squirting dye onto fabric.
Note to Parents—- please provide old adult tee that can be used for cover up.
Lori Thompson holds BAs in fine arts and criminal justice from Indiana University.
