Nature and Art with Ms. Lori
1st-3rd graders Tuesdays 2:30-3:30PM
Class Dates: March 14, 21, 28, April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9 No school Spring Break April 3rd
Let’s incorporate nature into some art. We will learn how to make dandelion play dough, dye with vegetables, make seed bombs, build nature sculptures, create custom watercolors from soil and so much more. Any time in California is a good time to be outside, but spring brings new growth. Let’s go outside, observe and make new discoveries! Besides creating art and getting fresh air, students will improve their motor skills and senses.
Since 1998, Lori Thompson has facilitated art and crafts workshops for adults and youth in San Francisco and the East Bay. When working with young people, she reminds them that they are practicing making marks, not practicing erasing.
*One badged and vaccinated chaperone needed
