We are bringing a compilation of camp offerings in the area of Day and Overnight camps for the Bay area and beyond. Many include half day and full day camps.  
The Olinda PTA does not endorse or suggest any one particular camp over another. This is not a complete list of all camps in the area, but it is to provide access to view options in and around Northern California. Note – many offer discounts throughout the year and also financial aid.  Please check each camp website directly for the information.  The Olinda PTA does not receive any compensation for listing these camps.  It is for knowledge of what is offered in the east bay and beyond.  Happy Camping!  Happy Summer!
Performing Academy Acting Camps!

Performing Academy is offering Songs from High School Musical camp for ages 6 to 10 and Songs from Rock of Ages! for ages 11 to 15 as its Summer Program.

Audition for solos, sing the songs and the play characters from the musicals. Learn musical theatre history and technical development in acting, singing and dancing. Camp starts on 6/19 and ends on 6/23.  Final outdoor performance is Saturday 6/23 @ 5PM (High School Musical) and 6PM (Rock of Ages).Registration is OPEN!  Click HERE for all details and to register!

Looking for in-person music lessons near you? We are located conveniently in Moraga, offering Piano, Voice, Violin, Guitar, Ukulele, Drum, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute lessons, and fun group classes year-round including summertime. All beginner through advanced-level students including adults are welcome; it’s never too late to learn an instrument! Our tuition is month-to-month so you can join us at any time or purchase only one month of lessons to try out. Our music instructors are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you achieve them. Whether it’s learning how to read music, learning music as personal enjoyment, or preparing for national exams or competitions, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your needs. Every year, our students have several recital opportunities to perform in front of their friends and families to celebrate holiday occasions. Additionally, our students will earn certificates, colorful wristbands, and personalized trophies for their hard work and all of that encourages and motivates students to keep practicing.

Soccer Days Camp

Are you looking for a fun and educational summer soccer camp for your kids? SoccerDayswould love to have your player join us! SoccerDays is run by local youth soccer coaches Stefan Clemens and Ramon Zambrano (independent from the local youth clubs of Lamorinda, Magic, and Eclipse). Coach Stefan and Coach Ramon provide an exceptional experience for all campers (girls and boys ages 5-12) with a good balance of soccer and fun to help improve motor and technical skills. The primary goal of SoccerDays camps this summer, 2023, is to expose the players to more scrimmage and competitive small-sided soccer games. We know that the players have busy schedules, so we provide flexible registration options so the players can sign up for the whole week (full-week discounts available) or select days. Our daily options include the entire day (9:00 am-2:30 pm), AM session (9:00 am-12:00 pm), and PM session (12:30-2:30 pm). All options are on the website booking page. 

Join Camp Brainy Bunch! Have fun, learn a lot and make new friends the summer!  schedule has blocks for learning that are designed by experienced educators who incorporate hands-on activities and build week-long projects. The learning blocks are interrupted by Brainy Breaks which are sure to get kids wiggling, laughing and being silly through organized games, community builders and icebreakers. St. Mary’s Creative Camps

At Saint Mary’s Summer Creative Camps they lead campers through the exciting process of planning and making works of art. Each experience is crafted to meet the students where they are and take them to higher levels of appreciation and understanding; they want  campers to be challenged and feel proud of the works they create.

Young Musicians Camp!

This educational course will include basic theory, ear-training and musicianship in a fun small group setting. Make friends and play fun musical games! Lindsay Wildlife Camp (ages 4 to 10)

Lindsay camp programs are designed to captivate, engage and challenge children, ages 4-10. 

They learn about animals, the environment, and have FUN! From digging up dinosaurs to natural explorers, these curriculum-based camps offer children a real chance to learn about science and nature unique to the museum.

Bay Area Ballplayers Summer Camps

BallPlayer Olympic Camps! Multi-Sport Camp where young athletes will learn, play, and compete in a variety of sports skills and games. Creative Writing Camp:

Workshop 26Outdoors, offline and minutes from Del Rey, our camps and classes are for kids who love to write, and also for the kids who want to, but just don’t know where to start. They’re a creative time out—a safe space to hone writing and public speaking skills while connecting with other kids, in an environment designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing. Over time, most classes evolve to operate something like a writer’s room on a television show, where young writers encourage and collaborate with one another to make their stories the best they can be, while having a ton of fun in the process. Visit Workshop 26 to learn more about camps and classes this summer and year-round. Instructor Anne Lowell has run Glorietta’s library since 2015 and was named Classified Employee of the Year in 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a journalist, essayist and grant writer, for outlets such as The New York Times, Netflix, Babycenter and The George Lucas Educational Foundation. Her essays on parenting can be found in the anthologies Modern Love, The Mommy Wars and Because I Love Her, under her writing name, Anne Marie Feld. Bricks 4 Kidz Camp

Bricks 4 Kidz focuses on introducing children to principles of science, technology, engineering, architecture and math through the fun of Lego building. 
Camps are being held at Lafayette and Orinda through the Parks and Rec in each town this Summer!  Registration opens when the Parks and Rec Summer Registration opens. In addition to the awesome Lego camps, they have BRAND NEW science camps (non-Lego) as well as STEAM camps (combination Lego and Science).  For more information, click HERE.
Science Summer Camp at the Lawrence Hall of Science

Lawrence Hall of Science summer camps offer a unique science experience full of fun discovery and hands-on activities. The Lawrence offers a range of Camps & Classes including our popular Summer Camps and Teen Research Programs. Campers can discover exciting hands-on topics from toy making to space exploration, all while exploring our brand-new Planetarium, Outdoor Nature Lab, and other exhibits. Camp Galileo

Galileo engages every kid with the perfect mix of hands-on learning and big summer fun. Supported by the boundless energy of the best staff around, campers from pre-K through 10th grade unlock their inner innovator, learning to creatively solve problems, fearlessly try new things and persist in the face of challenges.  Galileo is offering in person camp, online camp as well as Galileo at Home Camp.  Learn about it all and to register here.

Adventure Day Camp

A traditional summer day camp, provides a welcoming, lively, safe, positive, and diverse environment for children ages 3- 15.   
Their program exposes campers to a variety of challenging and exciting activities that will strengthen their teamwork skills, bolster their confidence, and develop their sense of self-esteem. First Tee Golf Camp

First Tee – Contra Costa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created for the purpose of providing affordable access to golf and golf learning facilities for young people in Contra Costa County.  The mission of First Tee – Contra Costa  is to positively impact the lives of young people by providing education programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.First Tee has programs throughout the year including Spring programs and summer camps. Camp Doodle

Rebel Art Camp
Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun. Each week we offer a variety of different media projects (acrylic painting, watercolor, plaster sculpture, assemblage, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and more!), which change each week making it easy for campers to attend multiple weeks of camp without repeating projects. The Saint Mary’s All-Sport Camp is perfect for kids (aged 6-9 and 9 -12) who want to experience a variety of sports and recreational activities during the week. The wide spectrum of sports and recreation activities provide campers with a unique opportunity for both skill and social development. Randy Bennett Basketball Camps are dedicated to the development of basketball skill, game strategy, competition, and leadership. ONE Generation Camp

One of the best ways for people of all ages to connect is through laughter and fun, music and dance. Oakland Zoo Camp!

Zoo Camp is a physically and emotionally safe environment in which campers and staff alike develop and practice skills of communication, compassion, teamwork, and scientific thinking. Lorne Smith Lacrosse

Lorne Smith, Lacrosse Head Coach at Acalanes High, will be offering Lacrosse Summer Camps. Super Summer Evening Youth Lacrosse!  For grades 1st -5th for boys & girls! Acalanes DONS Youth Football Academy

Shaffer’s High Sierra Camp

Fun, friends and wilderness adventures await you at this overnight summer camp in California’s high Sierra mountains. Marin Ranch Camp

Launched in 2013 as a true residential summer camp right in the Bay Area! A traditional summer camp experience that is focused on fun and adventure, this stunning 1,700 acre property, which is owned and operated by the MCOE, boasts 20 miles of hiking trails, a four acre lake, an organic garden, and a vast array of ecosystems for campers to explore with their counselors.
